Went last night from 8pm to midnight and the pier was really busy. The makerel were definitely biting but not on my lines. I was only able to get 8 croakers. I didnt mind since I haven't had a chance to go fishing since my boy was born.

There was a little bit of wind but wasn't bad.

Went last night with my dad to Belmont Shore. Fished from 9pm till midnight. We both skunked, but a group across from us were catching small mackerel. They had a light in the water which helped them out. It was still a good time with the old man. Hopefully next week will be better.

It's funny, I like that its quiet there most of the time especially that I have only fished at night.

Hi Everyone, I saw this article yesterday and thought you might enjoy the read. Since I'm fairly new to fishing, I've only fished at Veterans pier. It would be cool to have a new pier but why not just maintain the current one...
