    Landed this keeper ling on dropshot plastics fishing deep. A first for me from shore. BIL got a couple rockfish as well. Fished near bottom to slack bottom then left.

    How many rods are allowed from the surf while targeting Dungeness crab

    Thanks for the clarification. I ask because late last crab season, I had 3 rods out. A guy walking towards me took my pic and as he walked by, he commented "that's a lot of rods you have out" with a look that i felt was implying I had more than what's legally allowed. Could have just been me but...

    Black rockfish

    This past saturday. Slack low on a rock in the SF Bay. Caught deep on dropshot plastics on a 7'3" baitcasing bass setup. Caught a few, kept some. From water to table.

    Got out for an hour of fishing, 3 bites with 1 fish holding on, after a short but spirited fight, I landed this guy. Released after a pic. I left shortly after.
