There used to be (maybe still is) a hotel in Seattle where you could fish from your balcony if you got the right room. People occasionally caught salmon while fishing form the balcony.

I saw some in Sausalito, when I was staying at a Hotel next to Baker pier.

Sausalito ? It's got to be near that beautiful Pinnacle Restaurant with full view of the famous Alcatraz and the Golden Gate where below I used to fish... In the 60's we called that unique section of the Bay "The reserved Rough-Life society"... Cheese, time has flown by so fast, and the ship keeps sailing on...!!

OK, Gents.! Can't help having that feeling of nostalgia while viewing your Nor-Cal photos... bearing memories of those good old years of fishing I traversed during the 50-60's years up there ! Fishes were abundant then, and during weekends I used to drive all the way up to the Golden Gate, Sausalito non-polluted bay ... from Stanford, Palo Altos just to fish ...! Time and fishing have no boundaries I would say (copied the cliche from that crazy man, Albert Einsteins!). Thanks for having the photos posted :)

A salmon from a hotel balcony would be a lifelong memory for me. Now I want to make that a goal...Anyone have info on such a hotel?
