Point Pinole Pier

This past Sunday, I decided to hike along the Point Pinole shoreline and work my way to the Pier to see if the fishes were willing to play. Although the waters were still muddy, the bass were around if you had bait and lots of patience. I saw a couple of striped bass ranging around 5-8 pounds caught on Pile Worms and Grass Shrimp. There was no love on the lure for me but the day was sunny and gorgeous.

Hey Red, is this pier typically more productive on the incoming or outgoing tides?

Great to get a report on that pier. It's been a while since I've been there.

Most people prefer the incoming tide there with more overall action. But the outgoing will work too.

There's two handicap parking only spaces near the pier, anyone know if that's accessible?

Yes, but you need to contact EBRP’s to let them know before you go out.
