I was wondering the same thing. On other boards it usually just comes down to one thread. Someone starts a thread for an event, and then everyone just responds to that thread. Eventually, a second thread sometimes gets started with directions and last minute details.
I was thinking of starting a similar thread on the new board. Maybe I can do it tomorrow.
