...you got the wrong Acker for Team Halibut. My brother Dan is a much more accomplished flatfish angler than I'll ever be. He's forgotten more about halibut fishing than I've learned.
I also have to admit that the current run in the north is FAR better than anything I've seen down here in a long while. Balboa pier on its BEST day wouldn't hold a candle to the number and quality of halibut caught out of Berzerkeley over the past several weeks.
