Possible mid-state get-together?

Recently there was some discussion on the O/T board about the possibility of having a mid-state get-together....something about haflway between Nor Cal and So Cal, so everyone could attend.
I'm going to be in Pismo Beach with my family on Saturday, August 23rd. Anyone interested in joining me for a good old-fashioned, informal PFIC (not UPSAC) get-together? Maybe we could get together at Pismo Beach Pier, or Avila or Port San Luis?
