This derby is an annual event hosted by the Marin Rod & Gun Club. This year, UPSAC & PFIC will be helping out.

For those who have never been to a kids derby it is a lot of fun and very rewarding to see the next generation of our sport getting hooked .

Also for the adults who are there to help this may be an opportunity to fish a great pier that is not open to the public (note- since this is a private pier you are required to have a license if you are 16 or over).

Please PM me, Ken Jones or Sofa King for more info and directions.

Come on out if you have kids and want to have fun. This is a private pier, wooden, and pretty nice. There is seating and landing nets throughout the expanse of the pier.

This thing was a major success! Thanks to all the UPSAC members and auxillary members to include: Chris, Preston, and Alex. Your contributions to the kid's derby truly made this thing a winner! In a word-TEAMWORK

More to come and an exciting report from Ken and Brian! Stay tuned...

Thanks to Jim of Berkeley Live Bait for your donation of live anchovies! The bait was primo, lively, and fat. Definitely, get your bait from Berkeley Live Bait if you want results!
