Added two to my RSVP for BatRayDave+1

This has proven to be a monumental year for the BatRay Derby in that the original date of April 4 was the earliest in PFIC history, and the "do over" date Aug. 1, will be the latest in the year this event has ever been hosted. Should have some interesting results...

Big fish takes all...no aggregates...one or two triple-figure rays would be where it's at... no holds barred and taking no prisoners...

For anyone from Southern California coming: There are hotels near the Berkeley Marina like La Quinta on University Avenue. Ken Jones stays at the Motel 6 on Embarcadero in Oakland on the water (rooms facing the water with a fishing pier). Also, places in Emeryville and Alameda all within about just (5) miles of Berkeley Pier. Check for AAA discounts etc. as there is always competitive pricing... Doubletree on Marina and University Ave. is the only hotel on the water at Berkeley, but tends to be pricy.

The date is approaching in about 19 days so I will try to post a couple ray reports to let folks know how the bite on the pier is presently.

We will try to add a thread with a master-list of folks before the 1st.

Mel, what're you doing....? You're too busy slaying albacore for this. Aren't your arms finished yet?

The date is two days away... Ask ANY questions here about bait, where to cast, parking... anything. Answers will be given. Tides above in info section.

It you try to register after this time, and we have already gone to the event, print out the page where you added your name (whether it is here or the event page and bring it with you to verify your pre-registration.
