|Just a quick report.
Took my little cousins out this morning because I had some left-over blood and pileworms. Got there around 8am, low tide. Fishing the surfline, we caught various perches, mostly BSP and walleyes and one thornback. Definitely enough action to keep the kids' attention.
There seemed to be no action on pelagics in the morning. Regulars reporting butterlip perch and the occasional calico bass/rockfish from the pipe. It's supposedly been pretty dead as far as halibut go... strange as this was primetime last year.
Not sure what's going on with the pier, but we may just be in the a summer lull. Still lookin for that legal hali.
