Nice perch sucks being late
At a spearfishing contest I went to someone got a 40lb and 20lb WSB, but was 30 mins late and first place went to a 24" Hali
how long was the black ?
I don't usually take them as they are harder to scale/clean then rubberlips and piles, but I have shot 17" ones before,

I already wished Minnow pre-derby luck and I see it panned out.... but cutting your hair pre-derby couldn't be good mojo... nnnnIdunno... Hope that big blackie puts ya in the record books.. There was a lot of huge ones at Berkeley Pier in the mid '70's.. we would just put 'em in our mesh basket or wire stringer and bring 'em home and fry 'em... Wink
