Jordona Santiago of Martinez Bait & Tackle is reporting good fishing this week.  The sturgeon catch was pretty good with ghost shrimp being the most successful bait, pile worm and grass shrimp as well.  A few striper were caught here and there.  We have some great tides this weekend.  The early morning outgoing is a minus tide, great for sturgeon fishing.  The late morning incoming tide is strong as well.   John Berard of Pleasanton caught a pair of striper at the pumphouse on ghost shrimp for a total of 58"/ 17.5 lbs.  Don Cook of Suisun caught a 75"/ est. 112 lb. sturgeon (released) at bouy 4 on ghost shrimp.  Mark Bolcom, Kris Mashburn, and Preston Williams of Sacramento had a great day.  Each caught a sturgeon, a 59"- released and two 51" diamondbacks that were kept.  Ghost shrimp at bouy 4 did the trick.  Don Ellingboe of Concord caught a 50"/ 28.6 lb. sturgeon at Roe Island on ghost shrimp.  Mike Woodyard of Concord caught a 49" sturgeon at the Ozol pier on grass shrimp.
