I've got a lamiglas mbs86m 8'6" 8-12 lb, shimano sahara 4000 that I dont use any more. Its a good setup for steelhead, striper plugging, and maybe even perch grubbing. The rod is in good shape with only a couple scratches near the handle. The guides are in good shape though. The reels drag is still smooth even after getting taken for rides by numerous stripers, couple halibut, bonito, and even a 30 or so lb ray. The reel had a couple scratches and a small spot where the paint is slightly worn from holding it. The rod cost me a $ 130 , and the reel was $ 60. No the rod isn't one of those piece of craps you buy at sportmart for $ 60. It would be esier to meet up at a local fishing spot, Ie. Berkeley Pier to give it to you. I would rather do that than send it only to have you be dissapointed at your purchase. I'm not sure about how much to sell it for so make me an offer that you think is reasonable. Thanks
