Greetings All,
It has been awhile since I've posted on here. I've spent the last 5 years out on the coast, but now have rotated to Paradise Beach Park and plan on keeping you all updated to what is going on around us here at Paradise.
The pier renovation is close to completion and it may be open as early as this coming weekend. I've built a new fish cleaning table and will be installing it this week, I will announce the opening date here. If you have any questions you can PM me here, email me at jslack@marinconty.org or give me a call at (415) 233-1296, Tight Lines,

Ranger Jim

Hi, Jim! Welcome back!
Paradise recreation area- is a great place with one drawback: long way up to parking lot - not acceptable for elderly people or who has other health problems.
It will be great to establish some area where cars from parking lot could go down and pick up them or provide some local service to transport them to parking lot.

ING, if someone needs assistance down to their desired location in the park, our staff would be more than willing to give assistance, just ask for assistance at the gatehouse. If no one is at the gatehouse, call the park office at 415 435-9212 If it's off season there isn't always someone in the park, we have minimal staffing and several off site properties to patrol and maintain. Contact me any time,

Ranger Jim

Jim, We have discussed the pier as a possible site for a PFIC "mud marlin" derby. Any thoughts from the powers to be?

Ken, that would be a welcomed event, what is a date that you have in mind.
