One of the most epic days of lingcod fishing I have ever had fishing on the California coast. Throwing swimbaits and live bait for HUGE lingcod and rockfish. I lost count of how many lingcod I caught but I would guess it was somewhere around 20 with the biggest just shy of 15 pounds. Couldn't have asked for better conditions out on the water, it was like a lake out there and only got better as the day went on. Check out the video from our truly epic day of fishing:

Great action! I'm convinced however that Ish's obsession with catching big fish on those ice fishing rods is going to lead him to his doom.

As far as tactics, I list all the gear in the description of the video. The quick summary is 8 ounce jig heads with swim baits on 40 pound braid. We fished from 100-180 feet of water.
