Location: Berkeley Pier
|Lizardfish. More good halibut bait. At least when small.
Thanks, I figured out lizardfish later on when still on the water, but my battery was too far down to repost, so I just got home and saw you responded already.
I have caught a few dozen lizardfish at Shelter Island Pier, Capitola Wharf. But they were all like four inches.
After looking at that big ugly head, I was thinking "this looks like that tiny, little, ugly lizardfish I have caught.
There were some caught at Agua Vista Pier the other year by Pac Bell Park/Willie McCovey Cove in S.F.'s townsend.
Pretty far north for a lizard fish.
Huh, at first I was thinking snakehead, lol.
The big one looked like it could draw blood if it bit you!
