On a whim I made some tubes out of folded aluminum foil and tried to cast some pencil leads like that.....It worked well......So there is yet another way to make some sinkers

I got 3 molds from him. Expensive, yes, but it's worth it. I have the squid jig mold 2 to 6 oz, guppy jig mold 8 to 12 oz and the bullet slider mold 5 to 10 oz. Material cost to make a big jig is around $2.50 to $3.00. No big deal if it get snag on the bottom. I see big jigs like these cost over $10.00. I'm a DIY kind of person, so making lures are part of the fun.
