|Yesterday was like a day in winter, but the fish decided it wasn't that bad. Netted one keeper halibut for Issac. I had a 20 inch halibut, and we had some smaller ones. Issac also got a nice yellowfin croaker and I got the second one. We had a few white seabass in the 18 inch sizes. Randy caught a 40 inch male leopard shark, and we had a few thornbacks. There were lots of strikes for us through the day, but just pick the bait up and leave types. Makes it fun though. The bait was plentiful and good. Had small Queenfish, Spanish jacks and smelt. The water is rugged at times but apparently warmer like 66 degrees. We should have some good fishing for a few days.
