Which size Penn SSV Live Liner would you recommend to go with/balance a 10' St Croix Triumph Travel Surf Rod? Will be a general purpose setup for soaking bait on the beach.

Thank all in advance for the feedback!!

At 23.8 oz. and over 300 yds, the 6500 would be perfect for the beach. I use an older model 5500 Liveliner (no longer available) on my 10'6" Triumph and it feels pretty balanced.
