Not wide open, but steady.
3-Brown RF
8-Black RF
The best, one brown & one black that were about 9-10" that had big egos and thought they wanted to put up a fight. Once I got them out from under the pier I let the drag loose to see what they could do.....not much.
But I do love the way they hit like a bigger fish.

All released.

All caught Ninja style, I love how people walk up to me and ask about my bait, cause I'm catching and they aren't, but they never pay attention to the technique.

Go figure.

Yea it is funny how people ask about bait. Then they'll start thinking that it's your "spot" that matters.

I caught a bunch of those when I was out there crabbing as well. They are so easy and fun to catch. Too bad there aren't any big ones around the pier. But then again, catching a bunch of small ones is still better than not catching anything at all.
