I'm in the bay area.

It's a 9ft two piece Triflex Lamiglas surfrod. Rated 12-30lb and 1-3 oz.

I got it for throwing lures in the surf, but I haven't done much surf fishing at all. I mainly fish the bay and delta from shore and ocean from boat.
I really have no use for it as I took the reel off it and put it on a boat rod. I've been using it for stripers and sturgeon, though I've only hooked and lost one sturgeon on it, I think it will handle a sturgy just fine.

I don't know the model number by heart, so I'll have to get it, if anyone is interested.

Knowing Pat, I would say a baitcasting rod. I have never seen him with a spinning reel!

Yup, it is a casting rod. I'll double check the model number tomorrow.

Sorry, I thought my rod was a triflex rod, but it isn't it's actually under Graphite surf and jetty rods. And I got the pound ratings all wrong, shows that I don't use the rod much.
