Went Fishing off a boat with a friend of mine for about 2.5 hours we went out of redondo beach harbor
arrived at palos verdes near malaga cove.

lots of kelp and wind to greet us. we found a spot where there was no kelp
. Both divers said that someone spotted a great white in the area of palos verdes so they stayed inside the kelp, sharks dont like kelp.

but caught few of these,i was trying to catch calico's , but released them after taking the photo from about 30-50 yards from the shore, since it was not lobster season.

and friend of mine went diving in the water about 10 ft visibility caught this WSB 31 pound that swam in front of him.

it wasnt a bad day had two guys go out diving while i was fishing off the boat used squid that got lobsters, but we were in the sandy area, few kelp spots was hoping to get a halibut, i saw a few diver coming out of the water on shore looks like they had a halibut about 20 pounds. but all fishes released that i caught 3 lobsters, 2 skates and a bat ray about 25 pounds. i had fun for 2.5 hours of fishing.

i was the only one on the boat the other went diving, i didnt have a chance to take a picture of the batray.
