Good catch glowWorm. Looks like he's taken his 3 fish annual limit and only tagged one.

If the 67 incher was a sturgy, and he gave it away, he still should have tagged it.

Boku, you should probably review the sturgeon regs before you go fishing for sturgeon again, which will be in 2013.

Agreed,let it play out. Poachers never think they'll get caught.

DFG don't always approach in green uniforms and vehicles. In some cases a reward is available.

There is no Sturgeon from where I am from (Central Coast) but I am curious to know if I ever go fishing where they are located, and I accidentally catch one, do I have to tag it (I am not familiar with tagging fish)? ... I usually go fishing just for fun and release mostly everything. So I am curious if I could catch and release them all year long if fishing just for fun. Some answers and info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Two of my buddies received big checks and certificates for turning in poachers,one was like $400 other pushing 6 bills. Both were for deer poachers though.
