Yeah, I would like to see the flies and metal jigs...
Here you go mang!
Pat had asked about seeing pictures of Local (Sunnyvale) Legend Harry Boos' work. He has been hand painting and tying these things for quite some time. See the SC Skiffing thread for more info.
All the bar jigs are either 4oz or 4 1/2oz, though he has many sizes to choose from. These things are the sweetest... I will never change brands. Puts the commercial class items like braid and yo-zuri to shame. Not to mention the paint used on these seem to hold up better, that is unless... Mr. Boos says "Well this was an experimental paint batch!" Come to find out auto paint in clear doesn't hold up to salt water.
Hand painted bars:
Black and yellow is a bikini bar (Long and Stubby versions).
Red and white was a freebee, not uncommon of a gift from Mr. Boos.
Black on silver is a Raider bar(Long and Stubby versions).
Black on purple (Long and Stubby versions).
Hand polished Nickle plated:
The Teaser flies are hand tied, usually two color, hand painted eyes, made with horse hair(I think) and feathers with some mylar strips in the center.
The ganions are the made the same as above, usually a tad bit smaller, they come pre-tied on 20lb fluro in series of two. They include a barrel swivel for main line and a snap swivel for the weight.
