Congrats on your limits especially while everyone else fishing that area is reporting super slow action.

SJoey... what kind of boat do you have... I have a 20' Maxum, but I've been pretty hesitant to go out the gate... just wondering how many people here take their boats out the gate, that don't have REAL ocean boats.

BOB, Phong and I have gone out the gates to the buoy channel on his cousins 18ft Trophy. It's not that bad but when you hit the Potato Patch you're gonna wanna hold on....! But we were trolling...I think if you are stationed and rolling with the waves it would be tough..!

But did you see them go back in? It's all about playing the wind and the tides and it only lines up for small boats every so often. It's not worth taking a chance anyways because even if you make it back in, your boat takes a pounding.

I go out there on my friend's 19' seaswirl striper also. IT takes the swells pretty well for its size.
