Hey all Monterey Bay fishers!
Just wanted to extend an invite to any who want to go fishing for Stripers/halibut next week sometime: I'm thinking Monday or Wednesday after 7pm. Since they seem to be biting most at Sunset and up until 11pm-12am times.

I will be fishing mostly in and around the area of "Tioga"/beach hotel in Seaside.

I'd be down to go if you were a little closer to Santa cruz, seaside is a bit of a drive. If anyone else closeby is interested, let me know!

I think we need another monterey GTG! I dont care where just care about the the company and the stringers are a bonus! I know we all have schedules to keep but if enough people are atleast up for the idea we can try and choose the best date that suits all of us. What say you?!

Howdy Boys! I'd love to get in on another GTG with you guys, Im on vacation the end of sept, first part of oct. My wife's wanting to make a Monterey trip, (her B-day's sept 23rd). I've been thinkin-bout taken the trailer over to that campground at sunset beach, Maybe we could plan a Capatola Skif trip or sunset beach surf fishing deal with a beach side BBQ afterwards, Hows a bunch of Tri-Tip and a bowl of mutts Chili Beans sound? French bread, side dishes, maybe surfperch tacos? and beers, lots and lots of BEERS! Well, maybe one'er two, don't wanna fall facefirst in the sand, (again) Oops, storys out now!...So what'cha all think?...mutt.

I'm interested! Also interested in anyone who wants to 'mentor' a noob surf angler...I'm catching nothing but sunburns these past couple months.

I'm mostly an afternoon and evening angler on weekends, driving down from San Jose.

1st post!
I've golfed on a really foggy day and got sunburned, really bad, in the Monterey area. I didnt wear hats back then, and my scalp turned almost purple from the burn...it sucked. Bring a hat and you should be good.

I have to agree with SC, sunburns are hard to come by down this way, specially with fog, but I guess there's one person who has had that happened to them.

Still fishing today SinCoast?

Not today hermano. I decided to save my chips...to maybe cash-in next week.
It's been so quiet around here lately. I guess that's just the cycle of PFIC. People get busy doin other stuff or just forget to log on & report. Because I know most of us are still fishing...despite the general lack of reports. Heck, I'm still waiting for SS to post his 25lb ling or Mbay's double of 36" lings. And I KNOW Dave is out there killin it on a regular basis!

So, who's down for next Thursday afternoon? Fer reals!
