Any recommendations where we can take a salmon to be smoked? We used to have Bobby Lee's in Hayward, but they burned down a few years ago. If not in the East Bay, then any place in the Bay Area? Thanks in advance.

I know that many hunters take their meat to be processed at http://www.willowglenmeats.com/
They are in San Jose

I've never been there, but I heard great reviews from fellow hunters.

PLEASE post about smoking--we are fixing to buy a smoker; he is just driving me nuts about smoking. And I have never smoked.

Yes, a recipe would be great when we have the courage to do it ourselves.....but we're so glad there's a smokehouse in San Jose!
