I pulled a 5-6 lb cat out of Temescal last week at night on a chicken liver, nice fight. It was my first serious catfish ever, meaning big.

That's were I got my first serious cat about the same size off of that first dock to your right from the parking lot on the Broadway side. I have pulled many mondo cats of 6#, 8#, 10#, 12#, 16#, and 18# from the handicap dock at Lafayette. A few from Chabot but its a little harder to access tules near the parking area and it is a long scary walk to Honker's Bay at night (look out for mountain lions).
