wanted to try posting a few pics (now that we can do boat reports). These are from one trip on my boat... the striper I'm holding was the biggest I've ever caught. I'm not sure how big it was because my digi-scale battery was dead, and I was so excited that I released her without taping (couple quick pics and back in the drink). We had a 35" on board, and mine dwarfed it... I believe it was close to 50" and 35 lbs. (Look closely at me for scale... I weight over 200 lbs, and have pretty large hands (ring size 13 on wedding band finger)).

Sweet fish! What next, a solar powered digital scale?

Sorry to hear about why you haven't been around lately, I hope all is as well as can be.

Nope, the hali's were out in front of BP in about 20' of water, and the stripers were at candlestick... that's the nice thing about having a boat, you don't have to pack up everything just to move to a better spot!

Now that's an idea! We could have a PFIC boat event! Would that be an oxymoron?

Let's do something then, as my buddy who is a member of PFIC but hasn't really posted has a nice boat.

Yeah, let's! My brother has a small 18 footer that we go out in the bay with. We usually launch out of Oyster Point (it's close to his house) and we usually do pretty good on halibut and stripers in that area. Probably near the same area Bob was at. We go out by Candlestick Park too.
