I'm planning on going out on a boat for either salmon or rack fish , can anybody recomend a good place to charter with , that had a good price too -=o)

Don't forget to let everyone know which area you plan to fish. You can do rockfish or salmon from Monterey Bay on up.

If you are in the bay area, you can check the posting on the PFIC miss farallone trip. I did not join but the trip cost 20 bucks. Give the charter boat a call to see if they have the potluck trip for $20.00 each.

Last thursday, the mercury new's report were pretty slow on Salmon.

Check out the berkeley marina or emeryville, they do both kinds of trips.

Jump on a live bait trip, you will be targeting rockfish, stripers and halibut and maybe even salmon. All on one trip. They cost about 70 dollars.
