Last week I fished lake Temescal with Sharksnagger. We got there at after six and started a barbecue. After we ate we threw out a rod each for cats with chicken livers, and I also used a rod baited with worms for bluegill. Even the bluegill fishing was slow because of the algae bloom. I tossed out my bobber then it started to dance and went under. I lifted up on what I thought was a bluegill but then I saw this a fat trout on the end. I yelled for Ethan to come over and help me land it. After a few minute tussle I grabbed the gills and threw it onto shore. This thing wasn't the longest trout i've ever caught but definetely the fattest. We were guessing it weighed at least 8 pounds and was 23" long. I also caught a few sunfish and had a good hit on the catfish pole that I pulled up on too fast. Well now since I can brag about freshwater this year I caught two trout about 7 pounds each at Temescal and a ten pound largmouth released. We left at 9:00 P.M.
