just got one ... PFLUEGER , TRION , 6-bearings , 6.3:1 gear ratio ... any pros or cons , couldn't pass it up the price was right ... if you know wat I mean ... Wink

its really smooth but the chassis is bulky for me. also with all those bearing subject to salt water, repair could be expensive.

slightly off topic, my pflueger trion 8'6" spinning rod is my favorite spinning rod

A friend of mine got one last year because it was a good deal. It lasted 2 saltwater kayak trips in Monterey before suffering major corrosion issues. So you should take proper care of it before+after using it.

thanks fellas , I'm pretty good about maintance on my gear , got stuff back from the 70's thats still works like new Smile

a squirt of lube here and ther never hurts ! !
