I am looking to try and target some leopard shark and bat rays this weekend.

When using a bottom rig are you doing anything to keep the bait off the ground, or do the currents keep it moving enough? May or may not have any luck catching any live bait to use.

Also, what else do you try if the bottom is being overridden with crabs taking the bait?

On the bobber, how far off the bottom should I suspend the bait, in general?
