I know the usual leopard shark season is summer-fall, but does that mean they are just less bitey now, or have they completely left the area?

Also, tides. I guess since they enter the mud flats to feed, I should fish an hour or two before and after high tide? But apparently the sun and moon are conspiring to have that happen at dawn o'clock. So I might need to wait a week for the timing to line up.

I was thinking of fishing along the deeper channel from highway 1, not the inlet in town. Any other ideas or suggestions?

I was there a week ago fishing the lagoon with snares and squid. Not a single Dungeness crab and no sharks/rays for three hours. I'm sure there might be a few lingering around, but most have probably moved on.

Wow, so it's basically empty. Thanks.
