I've been catching a few keepers already, while trying to catch salmon from the shore/bank here in Sacramento on the Sacramento River. Caught a 23'' on sardines last week and a 20'' on pile worms the week before.

Thank you, red fish, for information! It is very interesting and some useful.
I didn't knew that females are growing so slow. May be reasonable to increase allowed length for females... It is not so easy to find difference between males and females of striped bass.
