mussels quarantine is almost over, and I'm planning to head out to get some. Does any know if the mussel bed at Pillar Point is in the marine protected zone? It looks like it's in the borderline. Is there a landmark that lets you know when you cross over to the marine protected areas?

I could be mistaken, but I thought the zone began at the northwest corner of Pillar Point/Mavericks beach and extended northward.

Thanks sea_forager. Here's the MPA I'm talking about.

Are the Sail Rocks south of the MPA? I can't really tell by just looking at the picture of the map. Any one pick mussels from here?
