Hi,

I am staying at the Crowne in Foster City and I noticed that there were a lot of canals and a big lagoon nearby. From google maps, it looks like the canals feed into the lagoon from the bay. Are there fish in these canals or the big lagoon?

I'm thinking of picking up a cheap rig on the weekend and spend some time relaxing and fishing.

Thanks,
Don

I have been wondering about that as well.

However, I do know they put chemicals (to suppress alga?) into the water to make it blue and clear.

At the least, there are mud suckers in there. On a wild card, halibut, leopard shark, bat ray, and perhaps striper. The closer to 3rd Ave./Shell Street, the odds go up.
