This may sound strange, but I have been saving the jaws and skulls of some of the larger fish that I have caught. As of now I have three sheephead jaws, one set of triggerfish jaws, and a moray skull. I am currently working on a barracuda skull. Just wondering if anybody else does this.

I tried a sheephead and buried it in the front yard.

It was not too deep. Something, perhaps raccoon, or opossum dug it up.

Nice. I've always wanted to do a big 7 gill. They are never around when I want them. They always chew through my mono leaders while targeting others.

Jaws are cool, but it takes a long time to make them look nice.

I got 2 sheepshead on Wed but the deckhand tossed the skulls even tho I said I wanted them. I'm real disappointed. Next year I want to do a bluefin tuna. I got 3 the other day as well.

I tried to do that with a halibut and shortfin corvina but my cat had other plans.

I love this thread. People trying to do something cool and animals ruining it haha.
