Took my gf and her cousin out to Quarry Lakes today from 730-1130 for the holiday weekend. Fished at fisherman's row along with a little under two dozen other people. Nothing for the first two hours for us, but saw 2 trout come up. The next two hrs we were able to land one trout a piece between 1-2.5 pounds each. But also saw about another half dozen trout being caught in that same time span. Good day to spend on the lake as it wasn't too windy in the morning, but could have used a bit more sunlight.

All fish caught on either garlic or chartreuse powerbait on a 2' carolina rig with either a 1/4 or 1/8 ounce sinker and a size 16 treble.

You need to come back up to Richmond for halibut and stripers!
