Hi everyone..
I am trying to find some info regarding this rod. This rod comes in as a 7ft and 7.6ft. The line weight listed as 20-40, but I cant find any info about the lure weight. I plan to use the rod on boat, but would like to use it on shore as well. I would like to know the max lure weight I can use on this rod if casting from shore. Can anyone help with the info.
Thanks

cruiser

I have a 8'0 st croix avid inshore series H and MH action. The rod should be able to handle 3-4 oz lures for casting. If you are just bottom fishing, rod can handle 16 oz weights. I have used up to 20oz on the road when bottom fishing and its fine. Just set your drag accordingly and the road won't break.

I'm thinking 3-4 oz lures also... I have an 8' rod with similar ratings and thats the heaviest I'd put on for full on casting...
