Hey guys, my dad and I have a rockfishing crave right now and would be interested on going on a party boat. Any suggestions? We live in ssf and are willing to go to emery bills, hmb, etc.... Thanks!

The best of the best is Happy Hooker, Berkeley. Tell Michael, (the deckhand), Woody says, ”Hi there little fella”.

$75 bucks outta half moon bay. Queen of hearts does shallow water rockfish trips, light gear, lots of fun.

Tigerfish out of Emeryville/ HMB - Farallones for Emeryville and coastal light tackle for HMB

New Salmon Queen and Huck Finn out of Emeryville

All 3 boats have crews that rock. They work hard to get you on the fish and don't a problem thinking out of the box.

Yea these are my 2, 3, 1, in that order, love these boats and quality crew/skippers. Can't miss with any of these boats.

+1 on the tigerfish! I was out there once and we had a VERY slow day. We stayed out until 3pm before leaving the islands when fishing picked up near the end.

Queen of hearts is a good second, the deck hand is pretty chill.

+1 for Queen of Hearts-they usually have you and your limit back at harbor before lunch.

If you want to spend all day fishing and take a shot at some bigger fish to go with your rockies, I highly recommend Cal Dawn out of Berkley. Had a blast last week...

I love the QOH. They have been doing pretty well on the rockfish lately. We fished just south of them a few weeks back and they did pretty well. I would also recommend the new huck finn as well. Captain Jay and his crew are the coolest guys and you have the option of live bait too.

Hmmm alright thanks guys! My dad and I are leaning more towards the QOH, but thanks for all the other suggestions I'll keep them in mind too!

if you want more fishing time out of HMB i would recommend the Ankeny Street on the weekends. Not as crowded as the queenie and a super shallow water experience. you will be fishing within 20 mins and they have been killing them in the shallows these last few weeks. for farallon or farther trips i recommend the tigerfish for the same reason. great crew and knows his stuff rather than the cattle trip on the QOH.

Ankeny spot burn Tsang151!!! The deckhand on Fridays is a world champion filet master and also works for nasa in his spare time.

HMB is a always a great choice rockfish and all the boats will put you on fish. PM if you want details
