I have 2 dxs casting rods. At $99 there are many other rods to choose from.
The dxs series is pretty plain, they are light weight, thin diameter im7 blank, fuji guides, well built. The spinning rods are long and mostly designed to cast lighter weights i.e. steelhead stream fishing. The casting rods come 8 to 10.5 feet, in fast and parabolic action, and some are capable of casting up to 8 oz. weight.
In my opinion the casting rods are great for shore fishing, rockfishing, stripers and throwing swimbaits (and of couse what they were designed for salmon &steelhead). Hard to find anything else in the market like them.
