Any anglers in this area willing to lend a hand for the Avila Pier Young Anglers derby on Sept. 10? If you can help with anyting,(set-up, registration, judging, lunch, or just helping the young anglers). Gimme a PM on PFIC or e-me at mcats@sbceo.org with name & contact info.
Thanks,
Mike Spence/Santa

Mutt, will keep an eye on schedules and gas prices, no promises but I might make the trip up to wet a line with ya. Don't forget trying the #7 green buoy mid channel right in front of Rock. Always produced for me.

Sounds like a good possibility, gas prices around here are falling like the autum leaves! I've read about the "No.7" Bouy in these posts before, although was'nt sure where exactly it was, sounds like a good place to set up a "base camp" for the propane lanturn/stove/coffee pot/hotdog or dinner pan ect.

I'd like to be in, but I'm 4.5 hours south. Although me and the wife would like to drive down for camping ...
