Went out there about 8 am fish until 12 . Bait old soggy sardines. Rigs slider rigs. Total fish count between me and my friend 5 leopards all over 4 ft 3 smoothounds and a 21 inch calico bass

All of torrance beach is infested with leopards lol i rarely go cuz it gets boring catching leopards...... i wont say the exact spot because i dont want the leopards to get killed.off there i catch and release 100% of the time

I myself dont like catching sharks, I too release 100% of the time a shark unless its a blue shark but leopard or soupfin, get released under my watch.

they are fun to catch, though. but i wouldnt eat one.

good job! though on the calico! very very nice!

Awesome post! FYI someone could figure out your spot based on those pictures (I did). It looks like a good hike to it, so maybe that keeps the fishing pressure down there. Thanks again for the post.

From what I hear, they are, but I also read that Leopard shark have a lot of toxins. Up in SF bay there are signs posted at piers saying not to consume them. Maybe they're cleaner in other places.
