Has anyone fished this lake before. Im taking the family camping there the first weekend of August. Im gonna bring an assortment of gear as well as my floating fish light to do some night fishing and my yak. Any info appreciated.

Beat me to it! Fished it once for crappie. Like you said we used a light at night and bought minnows from a tackle shop in Fresno. We also caught bass on crappie jigs. There were dudes walking the shoreline at night tossing buzzbaits.
