Ive been reading some posts on here and i think im going to fish for 4 days solid in carmel/ Pacific grove. Im trying to figure out in Carmel and south of carmel where are some good places to fish, also anyone ever fish from the pier in stillwater cove in pebble beach? where would be some good spots to try , mainly looking for rockfish, thanks

Stillwater pier is on sandy bottom, few rockfish there. I have a customer that is located near there and gave me the lowdown on that location. I think you might do better to find a rocky area that is legal to fish from because there are a few off-limit areas. Check DFG on that and maybe look at some of the older posts in this forum for PG/Carmel info. (this forum is GREAT for that kind of info.)

1. Read past reports from the area, there are many
of them.
2. Know where the MLPA/MPA's are.
3. Repeat #1
4. Find some public rocky shoreline. (More people=Fewer fish)
5. Post a report and let us know how you do!!

IVE DONE A TON OF RESEARCH, SO MUCH IN FACT IM GOING TO Bass pro shops monday for a new surf rod, new reel, new braided line, etc etc, and then im off to slaying the fish , hopefully
