I need some quality polarized shades. Any opinions/experience? My lady just got a pair of Maui Jims, but those are a little pricey for me. I could spend $100.00 on some quality though.

I've always been a big fan of the Maui Jims... If you increase your budget to more like $150, there are several options... I happen to prefer the Maui Rose tint...

I love my Oakley whiskers, they're a bit pricey too, but they are light weight fit great and are very comfortable, Ive been in those bouncing houses with them on, and they don't move at all! but they don't feel the least bit tight even during 6+ hours of use.

I just got a pair of Smith Chief and they are some of the nicest lenses I've had, pretty pricey, though.
Sun Cloud makes some very decent polarized glasses for well under $100.00. I found a pair of the "cookie" model on the lost coast a couple of years back and they were great glasses until I broke them a few weeks back.

if you have an old frame, try going to your local optician like, Lenscrafters, and ask what is the cost of installing polarized lenses. might be cheaper than buying name brand polarized sunglasses.

I use Bini Bay Sunglasses. They are pretty much knock off's of every other brand. Pretty strong. Cheap about 20-80 bucks. And they work but not all that well.

Thanks everyone. My boss used to be a competition waterskier and knows a wholesaler so I'm gonna see what he has in the brands mentioned.

Maui Jim's prescription dark polarized. You can see the color and clarity of the water and you can see in the water.

Guidelines work well and they're pretty cheap so you don't mind if they get all scratched up while fishing.
