Primos box call, I have mouth calls but I just can't get them to sound right, box calls sound awesome and are so easy to use.

And the liver too, is good but if you are not going to eat that......and I don't know what all the controversy is over using parts for other things such as crab bait, but the offal is great for exactly that!

Yea I saved the liver, I was under the impression all the edible parts were great for giblet gravy.

Airguns are now an acceptable method of take, and many areas have no regs on them. Turkeys can get bad in populated areas...haha I hit people up all the time when they complain about them. WOULD LOVE to get permisson to hunt the golf course up here!

Supposedly in East Bay wild turkeys are becoming a big problem... wild pigs/boars are supposedly becoming a big problem as well.

I've recently done a lot of research looking up biologist studies on the land/water I'm using, it is AMAZING the amount of work they done that translates into finding my quarry.

I recently found out that a huntable area in Amador county has some what of a wild pig boom.

Nice bird. Reading these reports makes me want to get another hunting license (havent had one since I was 16, got a 3 point buck my first time out, my Dad was so ticked off that he never took me again Smile

So my boy is aged, about to go into 6 quarts apple juice, 1 1/4th cups brown sugar, 1 cup of non iodized salt, 10 whole cloves, 3 tsp of sage and tyme and the zest from 1 whole blood orange, brought to a boil and cooled. Its bath time MR TURKEY.

This. Turkeys combined with deer are now the most commonly seen wildlife in my area (Berkeley-Richmond). They experience so much protection that now they are overwhelming the other smaller herbivores. They are nice to look at, however!

I had an entire flock of those things come after me when I was showing a vacant house in Pinole to some clients. I guess I invaded their turf or something..... Needless to say the clients passed on the house Smile
