hah slowriprun! i know i dont have to say it because im sure all of you know it. it was insane. at one point, there were 3 of em down there. the only time you could spot em was when they would swim around. once you spotted that and catch where they lay down, you would be able to keep a visual. but other than that, they blend in very well and it was very difficult to just pick em out off the rocky ocean bottom.

in the past, i have seen a couple lings cruise by, one in damn near half a foot of water. but this time was different beacause thy didnt just cruise by, they cruised in, right under our feet. i mean, i had deemed this to be one of my "ling holes" sometime ago, but that was just redonkulous.

i also had a chat with pete about the RF sashimi. a buddy of mine had taught me how he and his father have been preparing their RF sashimi for immediate consumption and they have been doin it for decades. but after pete told me about those worm eggs that i never thought of before, well, i think itll be sometime before i have anymore raw rockies =P

Just a little word on these parasites, I've always heard that saltwater parasites are imcompatible with our systems, thus they cannot live inside us, freshwater parasites on the otherhand are perfectly happy inside our bodys and can cause some horrible consiquenses, heart, liver, eye, & brain decease ect. So go ahead and eat yer fill of that saltwater (raw fish), parasites are the least of your worrys, start thinking heavy metal poisoning (mercury) or how 'bout all that lead SS and DSSH lose when they bang the rocks with their "howitzer" casts? I know, I know, lead does not permeate the environment,,,Maybe one of our up and comming student doctors could give us a definative answer on these parasites...mutt.
