Go here for the most recent list of MLPA areas:

http://www.dfg.ca.gov/mlpa/mpa_regs.asp

Lots of places to fish around there. Bring lots of tackle!!!

went up north around still water cove sunday afternoon to fish a bit of the outgoing tide. using high low with squid. I really dont know any spots up there so it was an experimental trip. I didnt catch a thing, but it was an awesome day for a drive and hang out at the beach. surf kept pushing my weights around to much however, snagged a lot.
there were a few guys pulling up crab pots with some luck though. Im thinking i need to make more trips!

Hey FF, I have fished Salt Point a half dozen times, with only one greenling to show for it. It's not easy fishing there, but others have done very well, especially if they know their rock fishin, which I am not among them. Still, the scenery there is tops and the fishing is the icing.

You don't know the Stillwater secret spot??? Try walking the trail a little bit north from the cove itself.....
